Every Blooming Thing

It's that time of year again. The 7 week break from school and flower time! Working at Every Blooming Thing in Salt Lake City Utah and loving every minute of it. Here are some fun things I got to create this week. I love Every Blooming Thing and their style. They want to be different and have a really earthy, organic feel. Always adding twigs and moss and pushing their designers to the next level. Learning so much and getting to really create! Enjoy!

Walt Disney Music Center

I thought this was such a fun venue to get married at! The theme and feel of this wedding was really nice. At this wedding I learned about fire codes and how important it is to know them and anticipated what will be needed for them. We had votives on the tables on mirrors and we had to use stick em and stick every votive to the mirror for the fire code.

Flower Girl Head Piece

This is a flower girl headpiece made with raffia and a pipe cleaner. I found this technique to be really interesting and faster than wiring and taping. 

There are over 150 different varieties of roses and they all have their own names with new varieties coming out every day. I am trying to learn as many names as I can. One of my new favorites I have descovered is a white rose called fragent snow. It is a white rose that smells so good. It smells like a garden rose but it is just a regular rose. It is amazing how many different varieties there are. 

I had a lot of fun working on this wedding we did a lot of onsite construstion. We put together the centerpiece right their in the ballroom. I really liked the style of this wedding. It was very beachy modern. Each table was named a different beach which I thought was really cute too. I also love the location the view was breath taking.
